The 599 is the classic Ferrari, a V12 in the front, two seats and a sumptuous interior, it is the very definition of gran turismo. The 599 is even somewhat understated, at least as much as a Ferrari ever could be, and doesn’t announce its presence quite as loudly as its stable mates. That’s because the 599 is more of a grown-up’s car, still blazingly fast, but not for someone who only recently became rich, it is more luxury and less show-offy. If the 458 is the car you buy when you’ve arrived at success, the 599 is the one you buy once you’ve settled comfortably into it.
